Peter Jennings Dead at 67
Brit Hume of Fox News has kind words for Peter Jennings on the news of his death, but I remember him best for his continuous flubbing of words during the nightly news, and his excessive argumentativeness with other reporters during the 2004 Presidential election. He may have been an ace in the news room, and he may have been respected by his peers, including conservatives like Hume and Hal Bruno who worked with him at ABC, but I was never a big fan of his. After Frank Reynolds died, I watched ABC news only a few times and quickly gave up. May he rest in peace.
